This will go for about an hour. There will be limited parking on the school grounds.

Highlands Intermediate are having an open evening for all new incoming students for 2027. This will be in the school hall from 6pm. This is a brief introduction about our kura and tour around the classes.

This will go for about an hour. There will be limited parking on the school grounds.

Highlands is hosting FDMC & SHGC for our annual Sports Exchange on Wednesday, 5th August.
Please see the timetable for the day's events. We warmly welcome our whānau to come along and support our tamariki as they represent our school.
Our Girls Football Team will also be holding a sausage sizzle on the day to help raise funds for their trip to the AIMS Games in Tauranga this September.
We'd love your support—come along, cheer on our teams, and grab a sausage to help our netballers reach their fundraising goal!

On Wednesday, Highlands Intermediate hosted Devon Intermediate for our annual sports exchange.

It was a fantastic winter's day for sport, with perfect weather and plenty of whānau on the sidelines supporting our tamariki. The day was filled with great sportsmanship, teamwork, and some exciting contests across all codes.

A big thank you to Devon Intermediate for another enjoyable exchange, and to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to doing it all again next year!

Last Friday, 16 of our amazing tamariki proudly represented Highlands Intermediate at the annual Police Competency Test (PCT) Competition at TSB Stadium.

We were incredibly impressed by their determination, resilience, teamwork, and positive attitude as they tackled every obstacle throughout the day. Their encouragement and support for one another truly reflected what being part of Highlands is all about.

An outstanding achievement saw all four of our teams finish the course in under 2 minutes 20 seconds, with every team placing in the top 12 out of 80 teams! What an incredible effort.

We couldn't be prouder of the way these students represented our kura, living our Highlands School Values from start to finish.
