WITT attracts international students from all over the world. Karolina, from Russia, found herself in a class full of international students and as a result, she formed new friendships and took with her the best of the new cultures.
She said the tutors at WITT worked hard to help her gain full understanding of the program content.
“It was a very different experience as Russian education is different. I liked the relaxed atmosphere in class, although it was educational and professional, very well planned. Communication with tutors was easy and support staff were helpful.”
“WITT helped me to integrate to life in a new world, gave useful tips and explained basic rules of the country.”

There is an old Indian saying - 'You need to venture out to find success in life'. Indian diaspora across the world have been able to make a mark, simply because they dared to move out of their comfort zones. And so did Christopher Shridhar of Chennai. Now engaged as a Sous Chef, Cobb and Co Restaurant, Christopher earned a Diploma in Professional Cookery from WITT, Taranaki - arguably the best academic experience you can get in New Zealand. He says, “It was great really, coming here, learning about a new culture.” His smile says the rest.
