👉 We hope that you have had a great break with your whanau and family! We are looking forward to the new term ahead. Term 2 is an eleven week term and we begin this coming Monday at 8.55am - can't wait to have the Woodleigh whanau back together! 💚

👍 Our school goal for Term 2 is our school value of 'Ringa Auaha - to be ‘curious, creative and innovative’. This will be woven through everything we do at Woodleigh. Our topic/study is ‘Wai Whakamiharo - Wonderful water' for our Kowhai and Kahikatea teams, and 'Ancient Greeks' for our Totara team. 💦💧

👍 We are looking forward to having the Woodleigh family back together. A big welcome to our new whanau joining Woodleigh this term too. 💚

✅ Term 1 is a nine week term and we begin on Monday February 2nd at 8.55am. ⏰

👉 A reminder we have our ‘Nau mai haere mai’ day to meet with your child(ren)’s teacher next Friday 30 January - Bookings can now be made for this event via your Hero App. See the email and pānui that came out last week. 📲

😊 Our school goal for Term 1 is our value of 'Ringa Māia - to be ‘brave, confident and resilient’’. This will be woven through everything we do at Woodleigh. Our topic/study is about ‘being a scientist - in the living world’. We are looking at insects, birds and invertebrates. We are also looking at the local environment around Woodleigh School. 🌳🦜🦗

👍 You will notice that we have a vacant area where one of our playgrounds used to be - this is being replaced, so watch this space - literally! 🧐

If you have already purchased stationery, you are welcome to bring it along on the day to avoid a heavy backpack on the first day of school. Please ensure all items are clearly named.
