Last year was our very first year as a school group, and it was a huge success. It was so special to see our tamariki supporting one another, families cheering from the sidelines, and our school spirit on full display.

On Friday at assembly, we had the pleasure of celebrating Maree’s retirement 💛
In a very special moment, Maree was awarded her very own Excellence Badge after Ava proudly applied on her behalf, a well-deserved recognition.
Maree, we are going to miss your kindness, patience and humour in the office. Thank you for everything, Maree, we wish you all the very best for this exciting next chapter. You will always be part of our school family 🌼💛

On Thursday we said thank you to Matua CJ for all his hard work teaching us kapa haka this year. We’ve loved learning new waiata and haka, and are so grateful for the time and energy he’s shared with our tamariki. We celebrated with a shared lunch, waiata, and gifted Matua CJ a Kōwhai tree as a small token of our appreciation. Ngā mihi nui! 🌳💛

We are so proud of Whaea Lynley and the mahi she has done at Bellyful New Plymouth. This has been recognised with a Local Hero medal. Congratulations Lynley 🌟🌟🌟
CONGRATS LYNLEY STRINGER!!!
2025 Local Hero medalists
Did you know Lynley started up the New Plymouth Bellyful branch in 2021 as she saw a need for it here!
Here we are 4 years later, 6 people doing what she did as coordinators hopefully making her proud!
One of the words used in her ceremony was "Legacy" and that is what she has created! And we hope to live up to that legacy she built. All though she has stepped back for the daily running's of Bellyful New Plymouth, we know she is our biggest supporter!
Congrats to Lynley on this amazing award

5 minute dash around our school. Check out the learning, teamwork and happiness of our tamariki.
We have the best kids in the world!
A reminder that today, we are having an odd sock day. This is to raise awareness about anti bullying and diversity. Everyone is different and this is something that should be celebrated. All you need to do is to remember to wear your odd socks, the more odd the better!
Quote of the day: We're all like odd socks because we're all different in our own ways.
