Yesterday at Manawa Tapu we were blessed with a visit from the Relic of St Carlo Acutis- accompanied by Monsignor Anthony from Italy.
Carlo was a Catholic teenager known for his deep faith, kindness, and love for technology. In his short lifetime he created a website documenting Eucharistic miracles around the world -using his computer skills to spread the Catholic faith.
Carlo Acutis became a saint on 7 September 2025. On this day, he was canonised (officially declared a saint) by the Pope in St Peter's Square, Vatican City.
Known as the “first millennial saint” and an inspiration for young people to live faithfully in the digital age.
This is a very special visit to our kura. A once in a lifetime opportunity!
