Taranaki Futures Taranaki Futures links educators and employers. Taranaki Futures is an employer led collaboration with educators and community stakeholders.

It works to connect all of the people and organisations that have a role in enabling everyone within Taranaki to have a clear understanding of the employment and career pathways available to them. Taranaki Futures builds on the work of employers, educators, community organisations, Iwi, whanau and families to create innovative approaches that provide a more effective bridge between formal education and employment. Through this role Taranaki Futures can contribute to the community by ensuring (1) that there is heightened awareness about the employment pathways available here, and (2) that the workforce Taranaki needs tomorrow is being developed today. Clear pathways mean talented people, young and old, take up new challenges, skills and opportunities that support industry needs, now and into the future.

Last night we celebrated the graduation of our 74 Accelerator 2022 secondary school ākonga who enjoyed placements with 34 employers/workplaces) to learn about the career pathways available to them.
