KUMEKUME A RŪAUMOKO - EARTHQUAKE 🌏
TOHU - FREQUENCY - VIBRATION 💫

Yesterday my mobile phone, which is always on silent mute, started vibrating, for 'no reason'. I felt it, then saw it. This has never happened before. I showed it to the SPCA crew (t'was one of my dog walking days).

Kōrero around my declining phone battery, post Mercury Retrograde shadow, and the ol' 'turn-off-n-on-again' trick. Tried that, but no remedy. A mystery.

Back Home later that night I felt my sacral swirling. Not puku, not anxiety. Lower belly where the sacral Elemental waters flow. No 'reason' for it, nothing 'wrong', but a distinct movement.

When Rūaumoko, atua of earthquakes, showed up not long before 5am, I felt it before I saw it. Before the house started swaying and shuddering, before the crystals on the furniture started clinking a tune 🎶  before the bed started lurching around the room.

It didn't wake me up - I was still awake.
I felt it before I saw it.

The deep waters within Papatūānuku 🌏 (yes, there are expansive bodies of water within and beneath Her as well as around Her - just as there is for us, her tamariki) quickened, swirled and rippled out in intense vibrational frequency) - ki runga, ki raro, ki roto, ki waho.

Our own Wise Beautiful Earth Body connected to Her Wise Beautiful Earth Body - na te mea, same thing.

Tohu in Nature, in the wairua, within our Body Wisdom.

We feel it first, in the Unseen.
Then it comes to light, Enlightenment, in Te Ao Mārama, the Seen.

Then it all 'makes sense'.

Rū whenua, the earthquake was the longest most intense I have ever experienced.

I've always found all atua visits, Elemental Expression, exciting and enlivening.

Not received an atua pānui quite like this one.

As soon as the shake-up subsided, a retreat back to Te Kore, and stillness resumed. In and On The Earth, In and On my phone, and within the Mauri Wai of the Sacral Waters. Na te mea, same thing.

And yet No Thing is ever still.
Every single thing is humming, rippling out frequency.

We can feel it before we See it.
Trust, then See.

Pause.
Breathe.
Feel.

I was standing under the Kōwhai Tree this afternoon, sending a heart mihi out to these beautiful trees on the driveway, when Kuia Kererū swooped in and landed right above my head 🪶🥰🌳

Sending a mihi to these beautiful trees just over yonder, which I have been informed will be cut down tomorrow 😔

Not my choice, not 'my' trees, and yet they are 'my trees', 'our trees' - beautiful taonga 💚

Their beauty, mana, mauri hauora lining the driveway, providing rongoā, protection, privacy, high frequency aroha for ngā manu to land 🐦

Barefoot on the ground, reminding them of what would be happening tomorrow. To awhi them with acknowledgement again on the Eve so they can prepare and know they are loved and honoured.

Sending aroha from my heart to theirs, for the blessing they are, have been, and will continue to be.

To let them know they are loved and to send them energy for what is coming tomorrow...

To let them know they haven't done anything wrong. They just happen to be close to a power line. That's all. Placement.

It is sad for me. I realise I am also preparing myself.

Their Divine Presence sending me out, and welcoming me Home, with love, every single day.

But I also know that the āhua of these beautiful trees, e tōku tūpuna ngā rākau, will continue on.

Whenever I look out I will see their shape, feel their mauri, continue to send them aroha in the Seen and in the Unseen.

I stand, not alone, but Encircled by, and Entwined with, all of te taiao.

All of us standing, flying, in deep reverence, honour, gratitude, Love, for these beauty-full souls.

He tangi aroha mai taku ngākau ki ngā rākau.

Ka nui te mihi, ka nui te awhi, ka nui te aroha mai taku ngākau e tōku tūpuna ātaahua taonga.
