We had Sophie come to see all our classes from Lake Rotakare Trust. She talked to us about predators. Pihinga class got to touch some predators and see them close up to learn how to identify them and tell them apart. We also learnt how to identify what predator might be in an environment by examining and smelling their s**t, looking at chew marks and looking at their footprints made on tracking tunnels.
Our next step is to make our own tracking tunnels to identify predators that may be around our school.
