Te Wiki o te Reo Māori ❤️

One of our biggest learnings has actually come from our tamariki this week.

They’re growing up with te reo Māori naturally woven into their everyday lives, and it’s encouraged us to do the same.

This Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, we have loved bringing more te reo into our everyday interactions as well as our whānau life — even if it’s simply a mōrena, kia ora, ka pai or learning a new kupu together.

We definitely don’t get it right all the time, but we are learning, giving it a go and becoming more confident using it.

And I love that sometimes our tamariki are our best teachers. ❤️

Kia kaha te reo Māori.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Edventure

Today we celebrate all the dads and father figures who show up, love fiercely, teach, guide, play and make a difference in our kids’ lives.

To the dads celebrating today, the dads-to-be patiently waiting for their little one to arrive, the stepdads, grandads and father figures who have stepped up — we see you.

We’re also thinking of those missing their dads today, dads missing their children, and anyone for whom Father’s Day might feel a little different or difficult. ❤️

And a special Happy Father’s Day to our very own Mark! We hope all our Edventure dads and families have an awesome day together.

Happy Father’s Day 💙
From the Edventure team

🌞 Visiting New Plymouth these school holidays with the kids?

Family holidays are the best… but sometimes a few hours to yourselves is pretty nice too! 😍

Our Edventure School Holiday Programme is open to visiting families, with both half-day and full-day options available.

While the kids head off for their own Edventure, making friends, getting active and having loads of fun, Mum and Dad can enjoy a long lunch, hit the shops, go for a walk, explore Taranaki… or simply enjoy a few kid-free hours! ☕🥾🛍️

💛 Half-day & full-day options
🙌 Casual bookings welcome
🌿 Fun, active adventures
📍 New Plymouth

So if you’re holidaying in Taranaki, why not give the kids an adventure of their own?

🌼 Daffodil Day at Edventure 🌼

Today we’re adding a little extra yellow to our day in support of Daffodil Day 💛

It’s a great opportunity to remind our tamariki about kindness, supporting others and the difference we can make when a community comes together.

To all the families who have been touched by cancer, and to the incredible people supporting them — we’re thinking of you today. 🌼💛
