🧮 MATHS WEEK 2026 🧮
This week is Maths Week! Right across Aotearoa New Zealand, schools are celebrating the wonderful world of Mathematics, including here at Te Kura Waenga o Ngāmotu! We have created a fun Maths Bingo challenge for students and their families to participate in at home. We'd love to see photos or videos of any activities completed shared to Seesaw!
Below is an image of the BINGO sheet, but an easier to read, PDF copy, with LIVE LINKS, is available here:

It is also our final week of our MATHATHON, with fundraising finishing up at the end of this week! Now is the perfect time for one final push - both with practising basic facts and with gathering sponsorship! Thank you everyone for your support with this! We have two more Mathathon prize draws to go before the end of the week!

Div 2 Champions! After a long interschool football season, where our team displayed outstanding aumangea and whakaute throughout, today they were crowned champions! Following a hard fought 3-1 victory in the final versus St Pius today, Central were the inaugural recipients of the Eric Shaw Memorial Trophy.
Thank you to all those caregivers who helped with transport today, and throughout the interschool season over terms 2 and 3. A huge thanks also goes to the team's coaches and teachers, without whom our teams would not be able to participate. Ngā mihi nui!
Enjoy the victory footballers! It was well deserved!
