One of my favourite holiday photos, circa 2019.
I stopped posing for yoga shots in nature a while ago (except handstands 😅), but this one still reminds me of that expansive feeling — the kind you get when you step away from the everyday.
Having just arrived home from my other home in Oz, this is exactly how I feel right now.

A reminder that even in a busy life, we can create space to open, soften, and expand. Yoga isn’t just physical — it’s an invitation for deeper, more subtle transformation.

This is one of my favourite holiday photos circa 2019. It's funny I stopped posing for yoga shots in nature (except handstands😅) a while ago. But this shot reminds me of the vast expansiveness of being on holiday or taking a brake from the regular everyday. Having just arrived home from my other home in Oz this is definitely how I feel now. Also the 'wheel pose' expansive as! This post is a call out to anyone seeking this feeling. Even in your regular day you can nurture ourself by taking time out to open up and expand into a busy life! That's where your yoga practice comes in. Not just a physical expansion but a possibility for deeper transformation even on the most subtle of levels. I am back teaching tomorrow at Sophia Villa in Oakura 9:15am.

Why Sleep Is So Hard – And How Yin Can Help

Yoga is such a multi dimensional practice. Treating you with so many gifts. From the physical to the mental and everything in between. Many disciplines or fitness exercises are great but few make you feel the way a yoga practice does. Energised and ready to keep on giving in a calm and connected way. If you have stalled on your yoga practice then I encourage to find it again. My teaching aim to not only make you feel good physically but to also inspire you to be your amazing self and embody your journey.
