Here we have our quiet achiever, Lilly. Lilly was introduced to horses when she was younger, via a family member. She started to become interested in racehorses when she was 13. Now, Lilly is an aspiring jockey. On race days, she preps, grooms and leads horses for the races and then walks them back to their tie-ups afterwards.
Lilly is working towards her Track Work License and in Pathways, she is studying for her Equine Racing Certificate L2. What a star you are Lilly!

Tara is our aspiring diplomat. She is starting a placement with candidate Amanda Clinton-Gohdes and Glen Bennett MP. She'll be learning about campaigning and, with a trip to parliament included, Tara will have a taste of real-life politics.
Tara is also attending the model UN later in the month representing Ghana! Well done for endorsing your pathway with reality Tara!

Our Health students have started their placements at Te Whatu Ora (Base). They have been given a great experience this year - shadowing a real life health care worker. Here is Caitlin with old girl and registered nurse Katelin!
Katelin showed us a very special picture of another old girl - Gabby Devine. Katelin knew all about Gabby’s Starlit Hope and showed us some donated items. She said she was proud to be a Sacred Heart old girl. Thanks Katelin and well done Caitlin!
