Old Boys - come along and support the 1st XI as they kick off the 2026 traditional exchange against Auckland Grammar School.

The first traditional exchange for 2026 begins tomorrow, with the 1st XI Cricket team taking on Auckland Grammar School in a three-day fixture. The match gets underway on the Top Field at 1.00pm tomorrow afternoon, with play continuing from 10.30am on Monday 9 and 10.00am on Tuesday 10 February.

Old Boys and friends of the School are warmly encouraged to come along and support the team from the sidelines.

The NPBHS Old Boys’ Association acknowledges the passing of Barry Boon, Head Boy in 1951 and a proud Old Boy whose connection to our school lasted a lifetime.

We extend our condolences to Barry's family and friends.

Get down to the school this Saturday and support our U14, U15, 2nd XV, and 1st XV teams as they take on Westlake Boys’ High School. Let’s fill the sidelines and get behind the boys!

Food and drinks will be available during the 1st XV game - proudly run by our U15A Rugby team as they fundraise for the National Tournament in August.

First Super 8 Rugby Championship match of the year – all the best to the team!

Games in Rugby, Football, Hockey, Basketball, and Squash will be played this Wednesday at NPBHS against Francis Douglas Memorial College. All the very best to our students!

The newly upgraded Gully Turf will be opened during the Auckland Grammar School traditional sports exchange next Tuesday, 6th May. The 1st XI Football Team will play the inaugural match on the new turf at 10:00 am, followed by the Gully Turf Opening at 12:00 noon and the 1st XV Rugby game at 12:45 pm.

Old Boys are warmly invited to join the Headmaster and special guests in the marquee from 9:30 am. As space is limited, you must RSVP by Friday, 2nd May, to secure your spot!
