Passed your New Zealand OSCE—what happens next? 🇳🇿

Passing the OSCE is a major achievement, but it does not automatically provide a job, work visa or New Zealand residence.

The journey may continue through completing your NCNZ registration requirements, obtaining an Annual Practising Certificate, finding suitable nursing employment, securing the correct New Zealand work visa and checking whether you qualify for an eligible residence pathway.

In this video, we discuss stay-back options after the OSCE exam, New Zealand nursing jobs, Accredited Employer Work Visas, Green List pathways and the realistic steps involved in building a future in New Zealand.

No false promises—just the pathways you need to understand.

Watch the full video and explore what could come after your OSCE journey.

Finished your OSCE but wondering what’s next in New Zealand? 🇳🇿

There may be pathways to extend your journey through further study and a Post Study Work Visa. Depending on the qualification you choose, eligible programmes can provide opportunities to stay and work in New Zealand after completing your studies.

From 1-year study options with eligible post-study work opportunities to programmes that may lead to up to 3 years of Post Study Work Visa, the right pathway depends on your qualification and individual circumstances.

Felix Rexy, Director of New Zealand Skills Connect & Careerflow, explains how you can explore your options after OSCE.
