Our tamariki enjoyed using chalk outside yesterday — tracing around their bodies and adding faces, clothes, and their own creative touches. A fun way to explore shape, identity, and working together.

As we learn about Tupuānuku, the Matariki star of food from the earth, our tamariki are connecting with the whenua and growing kai to share.

The sandpit was busy today with volcano building. The Tamariki mixed vinegar, baking soda, and red dye to create their own "hot" lava eruptions. This invitation of play encouraged cooperative play while introducing early science concepts through hands‑on experimenting.
