A Shout-Out going out to the Class of 85 @ "Clifton Terrace School" ... 📖🏐🏑

This year is a huge milestone for us, as many are turning the B I G 5️⃣0️⃣ ‼️
Some of us haven't made it this far, and you are constantly in our thoughts ❤️‍🩹
To those of you who may not make it to their 50th, keep doing Y O U and live love life.

🎂H A P P Y B I R T H D A Y🎂 to our Topp twins, who had their birthday{s} earlier this week 🎭🧳👅
Everyone will remember the antics at School Camp @ Canvastown, when Zan {or was it Felicity?!!} "stole" the🍥Lollies🍥during the Confidence Course, was taken to "Mock Trial" that night, then threw M O R E 🍥Lollies🍥 at us as her "punishment"!!!
Also at Camp, Mark B and I had our 11th birthdays 🎂
Mr Coe and my classmates in Room 7 were the highlight of my childhood 📖🏐🏑

Here’s some pics I found of the ‘Olden Days’ dress up day we had in 1985 at Clifton Terrace School. Our class was Mr Sistersons, Room 6. Fred Coes was next door in room 7.

🌲🌲🌲 Children's Conservation Project 🌲🌲🌲

New Zealand is becoming more and more conservation-conscious as the country becomes more industrialised.
But conservation, particularly as it applies to forestry in Nelson, is nothing new.
Since 1954, Waimea and Nelson city children have planted more than 200 acres of pine trees in their own Coronation Forest on Spooner's Range.
This year, about 1300 children planted another 10 to 15 acres of forest and pruned trees planted by other children years before.

Do you remember planting trees when you were at Clifton Terrace School too?

Via Brett Nimmo ...

Just a great teacher who took the time to understand a young boy going thru some tough things early on in life, then some 25 years later having a chance encounter on a trip home to hear from him first hand that he had a good understanding and tried to guide me where he could total respect.
