Book Week Fun! 📚
Our tamariki and kaiako got into the spirit of Book Week today, dressing up as some of our favourite characters. How amazing do they all look!

At Busy Bees Richmond we are guided by a holistic approach, through building respectful reciprocal relationships between tamariki, whānau and kaiako.
Busy Bees Richmond is a purpose built centre located on the corner of Edward and William Streets, a short walking distance to Henley Primary School. We cater for children and infants aged from 0-6 years. We operate four separate classrooms catering for specific age groups with separate outdoor environments for our under and over two year olds. Opening hours are between 7.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday, closed only stat days for your convenience.

🌟 Mānawatia a Matariki 🌟
What a special evening celebrating Matariki together with our Busy Bees Whanau.
It was just wonderful to come together to share kai, laughter, stories and connection as we reflected on the past year, celebrated the present, and looked ahead to the future.
Thank you to all our tamariki, whānau, and kaiako who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable.

Our Harakeke Room tamariki enjoyed the process of making their own orange juice today and were very proud to share a glass with their lunch.
As we celebrate Matariki, it felt like a lovely way to connect with Tupuārangi - the star connected to food gathered from above - while sharing kai together.

Winter has definitely arrived this week, and we are feeling very grateful for our new outdoor blinds! ❄️🌿
We love embracing the outdoors in all weather here at Busy Bees Richmond, but these blinds give us the best of both worlds - the opportunity to still enjoy fresh air and outdoor play while staying warm and dry on those particularly cold or wet winter days.
We're looking forward to making the most of our outdoor space all winter long!

To all the whaea, mums, step-mums, grandmas, nanas and mother figures in our lives - today is for you!
For the early starts, the big hugs, the long nights, and the endless love in so many different forms… we see it, and we appreciate it.
