Our MOVE programme encourages tamariki to build confidence, strength and coordination through everyday movement and active play. We've been enjoying lots of different ways to get moving, and now we'd love to hear from our whānau too!

💬 What do you do at home to MOVE with your tamariki? Pop your ideas into our question box at the front desk, and each one will go in the draw to win a prize for your whānau! 🎉

A busy woodwork table! 🔨

Our tamariki showed great focus and determination as they explored using hammers and nails. With close supervision from our kaiako, they were able to safely develop their coordination, confidence and problem-solving skills through hands-on play.

Meaningful relationships are at the heart of everything we do here at Busy Bees Richmond 💛

Through everyday moments of play, our tamariki are supported to learn from one another, build friendships, and embrace the value of tuakana-teina through caring, connection, and shared experiences.

🌟 Mānawatia a Matariki 🌟

What a special evening celebrating Matariki together with our Busy Bees Whanau.

It was just wonderful to come together to share kai, laughter, stories and connection as we reflected on the past year, celebrated the present, and looked ahead to the future.

Thank you to all our tamariki, whānau, and kaiako who joined us and helped make the evening so memorable.

Matariki mā Puanga, Together we shine brighter ✨️

Our Harakeke Room tamariki enjoyed the process of making their own orange juice today and were very proud to share a glass with their lunch.

As we celebrate Matariki, it felt like a lovely way to connect with Tupuārangi - the star connected to food gathered from above - while sharing kai together.
