Our talented Year 5 and 6 EPro8 Challenge team is competing today against the best primary school teams from the Top of the South! EPro8 is a nationwide engineering competition, and our team worked hard to earn their spot by winning the school's internal event. They're doing an amazing job of representing Nelson Christian Academy!

To our GEN Z generation:
Maths Week was straight fire!! Everyone was vibing at the Estimation Station, flexing their chalk Maths skills, and serving iconic "Maths fit" energy. Low-key the most lit week of the term, no cap.

To the rest of us:
Maths Week was a real highlight -students enjoyed the Estimation Station, showcased their creativity with maths chalk art, and dressed up in imaginative maths-themed outfits. It was easily one of the most enjoyable weeks of the term.

Due to the severe weather warning in Nelson today, 27th June 2025, and the resulting disruptions to our bus service, we've made the difficult decision to CLOSE NCA. Myanmar Earthquake Relief: M***i Day Fundraiser

Join us for our upcoming M***i Day as we raise critical funds for victims of the devastating Myanmar earthquake. Every donation will go directly to World Vision's emergency response team on the ground.

Your contribution will help provide:

- Clean water
- Emergency food supplies
- Temporary shelter for displaced families

World Vision teams are working tirelessly to deliver life-saving aid to the most vulnerable communities affected by this disaster. By participating in our M***i Day, you'll help ensure children and families receive the urgent assistance they desperately need.

Together, we can make a difference for those whose lives have been upended by this tragedy.

And that's a wrap for another season of volleyball. I want to say a HUGE thank you to all the parents and supporters. You are so supportive of not only your amazing children, but also of me as their coach. I have absolutely loved watching the growth in our players this Term. They have learnt many new skills, showed great team work, and pushed themselves to reach a higher level. Ka pai my beautiful team, you truly deserve the MASSIVE SETTERS COMPETITION CHAMPIONS award that you received tonight. Thanks to the NCA teachers that came along to cheer them on...they loved this! Argghhhh, my heart is so FULL!
