Well where to begin, we wrote up our goals for the year and have been ticking them off ever since. Loving the change of scenery with our lifestyle block and now expecting our lambs any day. The 'girls' are looking well and looks like we'll be in for multiple births. Will post some pics when they arrive. The spring bulbs are popping up everywhere and all of the trees are about to sprout forth their spring growth. Such a blessing to have all of the wonders of nature in your own back yard, does wonders for the soul!. Trust you are writing down and achieving your own goals.. however modest, celebrate them all. small successes lead to bigger ones did you know? Have fun xx
Goals for 2015 - have you thought about what you would like to accomplish this year?? What were some of the highlights of 2014 for you? and can you remember how good they felt? What would be something you'd like to feel good about at the end of this new year??
Writing down a goal you'd like to achieve is a great way to start. ...
Wishing all of my fellow coaches & colleagues a warm & wonderful New Year filled with peace, love and fulfilment in every way. May 2015 be a year where we can change the world one person at a time and make it a better place for all. God Bless xx
So spring has arrived, where has the year gone? Guess its been packed full of goals to reach, classes to attend, work of course, and many memories made and shared this past few months.
90 day Goals - have you thought of what you'd like to achieve in the next three months, this can be smaller steps toward a larger goal or completing a smaller goal in this space. for my last 90 days my goals were to attend cooking classes (had a ball learning Thai cooking) to quantum read 18 books, still have 3 to go and to complete the 3rd & 4th modules in the business classes- done. It is so good to look back and see yourself achieving some of your goals - I highly recommend this way of setting yourself up for success. This gives you the incentive to stretch yourself and the feeling of satisfaction when you reach them. Sometimes our goals are so big and scary it is easy to procrastinate and "put them off" or make some excuse for not attending to them, this way it is done in bite sized pieces - works for me :)
Just back from Sydney and a wonderful Autumn Weekend with Alice and her guests. Such a lot of new tips and tools of the coaching trade were shared and we got to meet two wonderful guests both experts in their field and to share in their secrets for 2 hours each. Wonderful generosity and humility from two very well known people. Have so much to share ... be back soon xx
Well 2014 is rolling along so quickly, already it is 15 Feb - how are your plans coming along for the year. It has been said that if you fail to plan then plan to fail. I believe it is all about having a goal, a wish list or something you really want to achieve and taking steps towards achieving it. eg if you wish to go for an island holiday, firstly when do you want to go? how long will you stay? who do you want to take along with you? how much $$ do you need to make it happen. ok once you have all the info then set your date to travel, and work out backwards how much $ each week you will have to put aside for your holiday. It might surprise you to realise with cutting out a few coffees, takeaways and wines (for instance) that you can easily meet the weekly amount you need. Its important to make the commitment and book your seat. You can always push out the date (not too far though as it will seem like its never going to happen) and then each week think of the holiday you are going to enjoy each time you are tempted to buy that treat, have another takeout coffee etc It really helps to have the "carrot/holiday" in mind as you grow your holiday funds. When its all done and you are jetting your way to your paradise setting take the time to congratulate yourself for your success (that YOU made possible) and realise that really you can do anything if you put your mind to it. How empowering is that!! So what are you waiting for - -------------------------------:)
now what to do while you are lying on the beach soaking up the sun, surf and atmosphere --- after a few days of cocktails and R&R --------maybe you could think of some new goals or even write a bucket/wish list, things you'd like to achieve in this life that would help you to feel even more fulfilled, to feel you have contributed to this world in your own special way. Your choice as now you know anything is possible :) ENJOY xx
Hi i'm back and I can't believe it took so long!! and so now to share some of whats been happening lately. My husband and I have sold our house and moved our belongings into storage, having been professional house sitters over the holidays. It took us out of our comfort zone ( having the certainty of our own place) however its given us the space to look at other options going forward, not to mention the fun of looking after chooks, horses, dogs cats & rabbits and they were all still alive when we handed them back to their owners (whew!). Mike is having his knee surgery next week and hopes to be up and running again soon, and I am launching my new coaching premises in March so we feel we are on track thus far. Its been lovely catching up with old friends and new over the holidays and this has helped us to re-evaluate what we really want to achieve going forward. If you are still feeling "stuck" and need some help with it, do give me a call or email [email protected] xx
Helloo wonderful people, thanks for visiting my page. I am starting to get the hang of this! and still so much to learn. I've had a fun couple of weeks running workshops and paying it forward. Been great to share my learning's because as its helped me to step up, then I know it can help others and its not rocket science, its just small steps every day toward an outcome you want to achieve in your future. Before you know it, you're there.
My recommendation this week is to read "the Happiness Advantage" by Shawn Achor - The 7 Principles that Fuel Success & Performance at Work. A great read - reminds me of how much our mindset matters.
Just back from Melbourne for 2 awesome trainings, HTRSW and Advanced skills first time ever crewing. Awesome working with Diego and Lauren - both very professional and great support. Loved the new learning's from the back of the room and the always awesome Joe Pane. Now ready to pay it forward with
workshops 12th & 26th Nov. Yipee
