Feeling grateful today. 🙏
My latest review below. 💃💃 I love my job! 🤩

Lucy has been tutoring our daughter privately since Year 10, coming up on 15 months now.

Going into her second year of high school, our daughter was failing maths and had actually slipped back to a primary school level. Within just over a year, Lucy turned that around completely, she's now working confidently at Year 11 level. She also got through her maths college numeracy common assessment in under a year of lessons with Lucy, which was a huge relief for us.

The bigger change though has been in how she feels about maths. She used to dread it and avoid it whenever she could. Now she's not just coping but doing well, both in lessons and in her school exams, and she's decided to carry maths on into Level 2 next year, which honestly wasn't something we expected.

What stands out about Lucy's teaching is how well rounded it is, she keeps things engaging and methodical at the same time, and clearly knows how to build a kid's confidence alongside their skills. The homework she sets always lines up with what's covered in the lesson, so it never feels like a stretch. On top of that, she's just easy to communicate with, gives detailed and genuinely useful feedback, and makes a real effort to keep us involved in how our daughter is progressing.
