Kia ora whānau and friends

Just abit of an update. I want to thank everyone for the support, and those who have already showed interest. Hopefully with hard work this will be a successful learning activity for everyone involved as we learn how to play the best instrument in a band hands down. I can't wait to get the preparation complete and start this journey with you all.

Step 1- I am looking for a suitable studio room/office room.
Step 2 - sorting out other logistics i.e., pricing.
Step 3 - This is where I will set up the studio room/ office to be ready and welcoming.

Ngā mihi

My name is Jordon Kotua Tekronga.

I am of Cook Island/Maori descent and I have been playing the drums ever since I can remember. During school I played in a band which performed at Rock Quest where we came first place.

Since then, I have gone on to join two local bands. The first is After Dark, where my father Keepa was drummer and bass guitarist. Now, I play in The Lou Bragg Brothers Band which performs gigs in a variety of whakatū venues.

My favorite genres to pay are reggae, classic rock, rock and pop. However, there is not one genre or song I'm not willing to learn and then teach. Please note that I am not the best at reading music, I was taught to play by ear- which is the style in which I will teach and have taught some of my friends.

Please message me if you, or someone you know would like one-on-one drum lessons. All equipment provided.

Ngā mihi nui kotou,
Jordon
