Hey Rangiora, Kaiapoi, Christchurch, Rolleston, Ashburton & Timaru 👋
Feeling a little… deflated 😒 by your current automotive apprentice management situation?
You’re certainly not alone. 😂
Whether it’s heavy vehicles, plant & equipment, agricultural machinery, auto electrical or light vehicles, we’ve got you covered.
We’re hitting the road again all next week, bringing a little automotive apprenticeship goodness your way. 🚐🔧
And we can’t wait to talk to you about how it’s REALLY done.
Appointments are filling up fast, so if you’d like to sit down with one of our experienced Apprentice Managers/Tutors and have a proper chat about what your apprentices actually need, get in touch now before the calendar slots disappear.
And here’s a little something to ponder…
📚 Next year, our apprentices will have access to more than 12 exclusive weeks of open-plan block course training sessions to choose from.
Yep… 12+ weeks. 😏
How does that compare with what you’ve got to grovel for? 🤣🤣
Our philosophy is pretty simple: do whatever training is needed, when it’s convenient for you and your apprentice.
Because that’s how training is meant to be done.
So, if your current apprenticeship setup has you feeling a bit flat… maybe it’s time for a conversation. 😉
Contact us now and get us in for a chat. Let’s talk apprenticeships, training and how we can make it work better for everyone. 🔧🚗💪

It has ALL been going on for automotive this week. Apprentice block course, Level 3 full time cohort First Aid course and what Friday would be complete without the legendary Auto Trades Academy groups. It's been a blast. Well done everyone 😁💪💪💪🛻🚗🚙🚚🚜🚛

Are you in year 11-12 at college and wondering what to do for a career? Why not join us on our Automotive Trades Academy course next year?
Our programme offers a hands-on introduction to the automotive industry. You’ll spend time in NMIT’s automotive workshops in either Nelson or Blenheim developing practical skills and gaining an understanding of how vehicles and engines operate. Learn the fundamentals of fault diagnosis and discover the day-to-day responsibilities of automotive technicians. You'll also have the opportunity to dismantle and rebuild engines, change tyres, balance wheels, and explore the function and location of key vehicle systems and components.

This week we're celebrating Sam Diskin from Route 6 in Richmond getting his Level 4 Light Vehicle Engineering certificate. His proud mum and dad and business owners Hayden and Belinda Diskin alongside Sam for the handover. Funny thing is, tutor Peter from NMIT trained Hayden through his apprenticeship at Brightwater Motors back in 1992 and this was all after he completed his pre-trade course with us. Great story and makes us proud to be such a big part of the family history. Well done team.
Doing it differently since forever 💪💪
