Lunchtime Ki o Rahi!
Our junior students have been making the most of lunchtime by practising Ki o Rahi in preparation for the upcoming Junior TOSI Tournament. It's been fantastic to see our senior students supporting, encouraging, and coaching our younger players. The teamwork, leadership, and enthusiasm on display have been awesome, and everyone is looking forward to putting their skills into action at the tournament!

A classic Kiwiana version of the famous ‘Puss In Boots’ tale, this hilarious and interactive adaptation will have your students (and teachers) laughing and thinking about the value of friendship, helping others in need, the importance of community and standing up for what you believe in.
It was so much fun!

Outdoor Education Adventure – St James Walkway
This week, our Outdoor Education students – Joseph, Hunter, Kieran, Mela, and Tyler – spent three days tramping the St James Walkway in Lewis Pass.
Although it was very cold in the valley, the clear skies rewarded the group with some incredible scenery. The tramping was challenging at times, but everyone showed determination, resilience, and teamwork to complete the journey. They absolutely smashed it!
A huge thank you to Nic and Naralee for joining the trip. Your support, encouragement, and great company helped make it a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Well done to all on an awesome adventure!

Tapawera Sports Leaders in Action!
Our Year 7/8 Tapawera Sports Leaders spent all of Thursday running the game of Ariki for six groups of approximately 40 students. Throughout the day, they demonstrated fantastic leadership, organisation, and teamwork while developing valuable game management and communication skills. A big thank you to Mr Wilson for his support and guidance.
Ariki is an exciting team game where players use pool noodles to tag members of the opposing team. Each team has a chief, and if the chief is tagged, the game is over—making strategy and teamwork essential!
Our Year 5/6 class joined in the fun and thoroughly enjoyed participating in the games on a beautiful day. It was wonderful to see everyone active, engaged, and encouraging one another.
A huge thank you to Sport Tasman for helping to facilitate such a fun and successful event. We appreciate the opportunities they provide for our students to develop their skills, confidence, and love of sport.
