Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to reach out with a reminder about our school policy regarding students leaving the school grounds during the school day.

Recently, we have noticed that a number of students have been leaving the school grounds during break times. For the safety and wellbeing of all our students, we kindly ask that you remind your child that they are not permitted to leave school grounds during school hours without permission.

Please note that only students in Years 12 and 13 are allowed to leave the school grounds at lunchtime, and only with the appropriate permissions in place. All other students are expected to remain on site throughout the school day, including during breaks.

Thank you for your support in helping us keep our students safe. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch.

๐ŸฅŠ **Victory Boxing โ€“ Building Confidence, Strength & Resilience!** ๐ŸฅŠ

We are super lucky that a group of our students get to head to **Victory Boxing in Nelson every Tuesday** with our awesome Learning Assistant, Leigh.

Victory Boxing provides a positive, supportive environment where our students can develop **fitness, discipline, confidence, self-control and resilience**. Through boxing, they are learning to set goals, challenge themselves, manage emotions and make positive choices.

Itโ€™s not just about boxing โ€” itโ€™s about building **stronger minds, stronger bodies and stronger young people**. ๐Ÿ’ช

A huge thank you to Victory Boxing for providing this amazing opportunity for our students, and to Leigh for supporting and encouraging them each week! ๐ŸฅŠโค๏ธ

๐Ÿš‘ **Responding to an Emergency โ€“ St John in Schools** ๐Ÿš‘

We were super lucky to have Kym from St John visit us and work with our learners as part of the **St John in Schools โ€“ Responding to an Emergency** programme.

Room 3 had lots of valuable learning about what to do in an emergency, including **how to get help, who to contact, and what information to share**. It was a great hands-on learning opportunity and an important skill for our tamariki to have.

A huge thank you to Kym and St John for helping our learners build confidence and practical skills that could one day make a real difference! ๐Ÿ’š
