🐑 Gentle Hands & Curious Minds 🐑

We had three very special little visitors at Nurture and Grow today! 🥰 Our tamariki were absolutely amazing with the little lambs — calm, gentle and so patient while waiting for their turn.

There were lots of curious questions, fluffy wool to explore and plenty of hands-on learning! 🌿🐑 Even their owner commented on how beautifully the children interacted with them.

A pretty special morning with our new fluffy friends! 💛

🌼 Daffodil Day at Nurture & Grow! 🌼

A day filled with lots of fun, laughter and learning! 💛 Our tamariki enjoyed getting involved while learning about why we celebrate Daffodil Day and how our fundraising helps support people affected by cancer.

We love giving our children opportunities to learn about kindness, compassion and helping our community. 🌼💛

🧠✨ Learning together through play!

Our preschoolers have been enjoying this memory game together — developing colour recognition, concentration, memory, turn-taking, communication and social skills while learning alongside one another. A simple activity with so many opportunities for learning through a Montessori lens.

It’s amazing what can grow from a space that’s been thoughtfully prepared with children in mind. 🌿

A little building, experimenting and seeing the world through a different lens. 🌈✨

The boys explored colour, light and perspective as they built together, then discovered the fun of looking at each other through the different coloured lenses. 💛

🚐✨ New wheels, new adventures!

Our new 4-seater pram has arrived, and of course we had to take it for a spin! 😍

Our little helpers were on hand this afternoon to help the kaiako put it together — with some very important quality control happening along the way! 😂🔧

Once it passed inspection, they headed off for a little walk to PAK’nSAVE to grab a few things. 🛒👣

We love that our littlest tamariki can now join in on our community adventures too — exploring, moving, connecting and learning as they go! 💛🌿

A little fresh air, sunshine and lots of learning! ☀️🌿

Our tamariki enjoyed a walk to the park before putting their balance, coordination and concentration to the test with an egg and spoon race! 🥚🥄

Through movement and playful experiences, children are developing control of their bodies, building confidence and learning to persevere — all while having fun together. 💛

🎨 Learning Through Art & Nature

Our tamariki have been looking closely at the world around them, noticing the colours, shapes and changes in the sky. Through painting, they explored how colours mix and move, while making their own creative choices.

These experiences support observation, creativity, confidence and self-expression, turning something as simple as looking up at the sky into meaningful learning. ☁️💙
