The NZ Singing School Trust has this week made the difficult decision to not proceed with the school for 2023. Applications from students have been unexpectedly low, despite the Trust extending the application period.
"It is disappointing, but this is an unfortunate roll-on effect of Covid and the economic situation, and our discussions with our artistic Directors Christine Douglas and Mark Dorrell have led us to agree that there are insufficient student to continue," says Trust Chairwoman Helen Walker.
Applicants and tutors have been personally advised of the situation by email.
