Hi! I have been training ever since and teaching for close to 20 years.

I'm Instructor Carl Drinkwater and I began my Wing Chun journey in 1993 in my home town of Napier under Instructor Mark Spence who is now Sifu Mark Spence running several clubs in Sydney, called Chi Sau Club. Sifu Mark and I were originally training under Sifu Jim Fung's Wing Chun Academy, but when he passed away we started training under Sifu Jim Fung's Master, Sigung Chu Shong Tin. Sigung was on

e of 4 close door students of the late Grandmaster Ip Man and before Grandmaster Ip Man passed away he wrote that Chu Shong Tin has surpassed him in skill level, so my lineage is very strong.
