19/07/2026

It is with great sadness that on behalf of the Westshore Surf Lifesaving Club I have to pass on the news that our member Donna Briggs passed away peacefully on Wednesday 15th July 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Westshore always held a special place in Donna's heart, and her children Iraia and Natalya were also involved with the club and represented Westshore in surf sports.

Donna was very involved as a parent, team manager and was always there to help whenever needed.

A celebration of Donna's life is to be held at 1pm on Tuesday 21st July 2026 at the Tabard Theatre, Coronation St, Ahuriri.

Donna has requested NO BLACK CLOTHING at her funeral!

Rest well Donna, our love and thoughts go out to all your family and friends.

For those who cannot attend but wish to a part of Donna's celebration you can watch on live feed on the link below
