Good luck to all our teams travelling away for the week for Secondary Schools Winter Tournament. Netball travel to Wellington and start their competition on Sunday through till Thursday. Equestrian travels to Taupo - Sunday to Thursday. 1st Hockey and 1st Football travel to Wellington and Hamilton respectively and their competitions run from Monday - Friday.
Safe travels, play hard but fair and most importantly enjoy yourselves. There are a lot of Yr13s across all teams who have been away with their sporting code for their 5yrs at SHC so they will want to finish on a high. 🏐🏇🏑⚽️

An Invitation to Explore the Catholic Faith

The Catholic Parish of Napier warmly invites parents, students, teachers, and staff of Sacred Heart College—as well as anyone in our wider community—to a series of open Enquiry Evenings.
Whether you are curious about what Catholics believe, returning after some time away, or simply looking to deepen your understanding of the faith, you are most welcome.
These informal sessions offer a comfortable space to ask questions and discover the greatest gift we hold: the beautiful, untold story of the divine entering into our everyday lives.

• When: Wednesdays for 3 weeks, starting 26 August and the next three Wednesdays,
• Where: Napier Parish Mission Centre 7.30 pm till 8.30 pm.
• Get in Touch: Email [email protected], phone the Parish Office, or speak directly with one of our priests after Mass. You are also welcome to chat with Catholic members of your school community to learn more.

While we are saddened that Maria will be leaving Sacred Heart College at the end of the year, we are incredibly proud of her appointment. This is a wonderful and well-deserved opportunity, and we know she will make a significant contribution to Catholic education across Aotearoa New Zealand.
We congratulate Maria and look forward to celebrating her contribution to Sacred Heart College over the coming months.

Our very own Madeline Sugiharto has been working hard representing the Napier Youth Council and wants to share an amazing opportunity for young people in Napier.

The Youth Development Fund are grants awarded to young people between the ages of 12 and 24 who live in Napier and are involved in a project or activity that promotes their personal development to achieve their goals and dreams. They allocate $7,000 to be distributed with a typical grant being $200-$1,000 approximately.
