November Employee of the month winner is Donna Tuanui, Tutor at Premier Institute of Education. Donna was nominated by Gregory Patterson, who said:

'Donna, having come on board at the beginning of this year as the Tutor for our new Foundation Level 2 course has had great success engaging, empowering, and assisting her young student's achievement of level 2 qualifications.

This programme is designed to accommodate learners which the normal school system could not provide for and were likely to drop out of the schooling system with no formal qualifications.

Donna's approach to this role has been a huge learning curve for her but has been a huge success with the students. Donna's care, compassion, and empathy for her students and their learning have seen huge, remarkable positive results and self-belief reinstalled in these students to the point that almost all students now have a strong belief that they will have a positive future in front of them and engage more fully with confidence in what they focus on next with their newfound understanding and confidence. Whether this is in employment or further learning in the future.

I am extremely pleased to have a person such as Donna included in our team of tutors as she has proven to be just what was needed for these students and she is also a fun team player and a pleasure for all to be around. We are very lucky. '
