Have you notice how amazing our bird Aviary is looking with its revamp? Thanks to Stuart our awesome handy man for water blasting, fixing and staining our aviary. He also has made three new bird boxes . We can see how interested our birds are. in their new nesting boxes............ so watch this space for babies over the coming months. We have already spotted some eggs being laid. Spring is in the air here at Eskview.😍

It certainly is a chilly day for Grandparents day. No worries we have 6 delicious hot soups all ready. Can't wait to see you all. Don't forget the $$$$

Don't forget tomorrow is our annual Grandparents and special friends day. This is not only a whanau day but also a fundraiser for us. We are raising money to go towards purchasing news bikes, cars and wheelie equipment.
So bring your gold coins.
Cupcake icing $1
Facepainting , fishing for lucky dips, rides on Trigger the horse all for only $2 each.
Delicious slices and coffee for morning tea $3 a real bargin.
Lunch packs for the children $5
Finally our super- dooper world famous in Bayview bottomless cups of hot soups and fresh bread to warm you up on these cold days.
(There will be 6 delicious varieties to try)
Finally we are launching our children's self portrait artwork tea towels
The children have also been practicing their special concert to perform for you.
It's going to be a fabulous day😁🥰

Our vege garden is showing promising signs 🥦🥦 but it is safe to say our healthy looking crop will not be ready for Grandparents Day.

Instead ... if you have put your name down to bring in soup making ingredients and vegetables can you please start bringing them in. We can start the 'soup making' as soon as we have enough ingredients 🍲

Happy Monday everyone.

We are counting down to the 19th of August - the date which has been set for this year's Grandparents/Special friends day. Invites will be handed out this week but, in the meantime, here is a sneak peak at a very special item which will be available to purchase on the day. Can you guess what it could be????

We will need a bit of help organizing this event so please add your name to the 'ingredient' list above the sign-in sheets (the more ingredients brought in = the more yummy soups which can be made). We are also looking for a few people to help us with a bit of baking. Let us know if this sounds like you.

What an awesome way to celebrate Matariki this morning with a pajama and pancake breakfast for our children and whanau.
We wish our families all a fabulous Matariki weekend filled with reflections, peace and joy and coming together to be with one another at this very special time.
