Whares, Fales, Huts, Forts and Shelters. Just one of the many things that we create to inspire the children's imagination and encourage their awareness of nature.

New product. Macrocarpa Flitch Fencing. Quite a bit of processing but I think it's worth it for the natural look. If you don't know, macrocarpa is the Rolls Royce of timbers. The current going rate can fluctuate between $1,400 and $2,600 per cubic meter depending on the cut usability and the quality of the timber. It has the grains, it has the colour, it is a hardwood, and it has the natural oils for longevity. Macrocarpa will last in the ground 10-15 years and is non-toxic making it the preferred choice for raised garden beds and vege planting (which should never be treated timber, so if you could please stop doing that, that'd be great).
Wouldn't this be expensive? I hear you ask. Not as much as you might think. We can do this for a little more than standard pine palings, you know the square green tinted toxic treated timber ones with the splintery edges? (yeuch)
This is a Fancy Flitch Fence For a Fraction of what you might Fink. You heard it here first. You saw it here first.
