May Road School

May Road School May Road School is a multicultural learning community situated in Mount Roskill. We encourage community involvement in the school.

We celebrate the diversity of the learners within our school and believe in building strong relationships/partnerships with whānau to enhance student success. Our mission statement ‘Value yourself, value your learning and respect all others’ is at the core of everything that happens within the school. We are proud to be a multi-cultural school and we celebrate the diversity of the students and the

ir families. We constantly strive to raise student achievement levels and offer students experiences that will enable this to happen. Our programmes are focussed upon students’ needs and additional support or extension is given where needed. Parent helpers are always welcome and there are many opportunities for community activities and for you to be involved with your child at school. Please join us whenever you can. Our school newsletters are published fortnightly on a Thursday and this keeps you informed of events, successes, curriculum and community information. We look forward to your involvement at May Road School. May Road School was first opened 15 April 1925.

Hi everyone,

We are excited to announce that our Schools Out New Windsor Holiday Programme is open for bookings for the upcoming school holidays beginning Monday 28th September 2026.

Attached is our Holiday Programme Event Calendar which outlines dates, activities, and prices.

We are based on site in the New Windsor School Hall.

Please contact us if you would like to make a booking. If this is your first time making a booking, please reply and we can email you back our enrolment details and information.

We have come out of lockdown practice and all students, staff and persons on-site are safely accounted for. Everyone did extremely well and responded to instructions. A notice will be going out to parents/caregivers tonight to provide some more information on what has occurred today.
