I’ve been thinking about….
How children have a way of stopping for things we walk straight past like a feather or snail crossing the footpath or clouds shaped like dragons or a rainbow hiding in a puddle.
Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped noticing because life became busier, our minds became fuller and our eyes stayed fixed on where we were going instead of what was already here.
Maybe children don’t need us to teach them wonder, maybe they’re quietly trying to teach it back to us.
✨ A pondering…
What has your child invited you to notice recently that you almost missed?
💛 An invitation…
The next time you’re out together, let your child choose when to stop with no rushing and no agenda.
Just follow their curiosity for five minutes and see where it leads.
