Motupipi School DAFFODIL DAY MARKET FUNDRAISER - TODAY from 12:30pm

We are very excited about our legendary Daffodil Day Fundraiser for The Cancer Society, our Daffodil Day Market - TODAY! Daffodil Day has been a wonderful annual tradition in the Motupipi School Calendar. The object is to raise money for Cancer Society Nelson Tasman. Last year we raised over $2000!

Students will be running food stalls and games as well as having items to cell. Support our enterprising students in their charity fundraiser! Fun for all!

Our Plan of the day:
- 12:20 - Parents/whānau/siblings/community members welcome to arrive.
- 12:30 - Parade to music - children come dressed up and show off their Spring outfits - yellow/green/orange
- 12:35 - 2:00 - ALL Market, Games & Food Stalls open - Fundraising for The Cancer Society

Come and join us for the afternoon TODAY from 12:30pm.
Bring cash (exchange for tokens on the day) to purchase items and food from stalls - with all money going to support The Cancer Society.

Due to the rainy weather forecasted on Friday, we have decided to postpone our Daffodil Day Market to Tuesday 1st September.

More information will come out on how the day will run.

⭐️Our DAFFODIL DAY MARKET is a special way Motupipi School is “Making a Difference Together”

Daffodil Day has been a wonderful annual tradition in the Motupipi School Calendar for many years. Each year we hold our legendary, Daffodil Day Market for The Cancer Society.

Each class, as part of our enterprise topic, plans and creates items to sell and organises games to play for the afternoon as a fundraiser. Our aim is to raise money for The Cancer Society. Cancer has touched the lives of many families and so is such a great cause.

Over the years, we have raised A LOT of money:
🌼2025: We raised $2285.95 for The Cancer Society
🌼2024: Wow, $2368.00 raised for The Cancer Society
🌼2023: We raised $1828.60 for The Cancer Society
🌼2022: A total of $1546.76 raised for The Cancer Society
🌼And lots of money raised also in previous years!

Students will be running stalls and games as well as having time to participate in the games and food for sale.

🎉 Welcome Back to Term 3!

We hope everyone has had a safe and relaxing holiday break. We can't wait to welcome all of our students back to school tomorrow (Monday 20 July) for another exciting term of learning.

We have a School Values focus of Responsibility this term as well as a focus on Making a Difference Together. We look forward to exploring ways that people contribute to making a difference, as well as preparing for our awesome annual Daffodil Day fundraiser for The Cancer Society on Friday 28th August (more on this over the next few weeks).

We’re looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces back at Motupipi.

🌻Motupipi School Plant Sale🌻

Our Plant Sale is ON this year!

We look forward to another bumper event - and to support this, we are kicking it off with SEED FUNDRAISER, with Kings Seeds. 🌿🪴🌸

If you'd like to get some seeds to grow a few things to donate to us to sell on the day, or use for your own garden, please consider ordering with us!

We loved doing our first Trees for Survival planting day, with our first 838 seedlings we successfully have grown in their growing unit.

UPDATE re Mohua ECE & Schools today (Tuesday 2nd June) - Late start to school & morning buses.

With the current weather situation, Go Bus have made the decision to NOT run the school buses this morning for the following schools: Central Tākaka, Tākaka Primary, Motupipi and Golden Bay High Schools. This change does not include Collingwood Area School who has buses running as normal this morning & school for normal hours.
At this stage, our schools plans to open at 11.00am, and we will confirm this by 9.00am.
