Busy Bumbles Silverstream is based on-site at Silverstream (South) School in Mosgiel, Dunedin.

This week at Busy Bumbles Silverstream is Kids choice week. Gina our wonderful Assistant Supervisor brought in materials to make paper. We shredded coloured paper, soaked it, blitzed it and strained it. Then we made it into balls, held together with some PVA, then sprinkled them with some seeds and petals. Once they are dry, we can plant them or give them as cool presents! The children enjoyed getting hands on with all stages, they learnt some new skills, such as using a stick blender and sieve.

What a fun week we've had at Busy Bumbles Silverstream exploring cardboard creations and recycling! ♻️📦

Today, the children used balloons to dab paint onto white paper, creating colourful and unique artworks. This activity encouraged creativity and lots of fun as the children experimented with a different way of painting.

Tomorrow is Movie Day, and we're looking forward to another fun day together! 🎬🍿

With all Dunedin primary and intermediate schools being CLOSED today due to adverse weather and road conditions, Busy Bumbles Silverstream will also be closed this afternoon.

This week's theme: Buzz, Buzz, Buzz

The children at Silverstream Busy Bumbles enjoyed creating colorful bee coloring in pictures.

The children all did amazing. We will judge these at the end of this week.

Can't believe it is week 10 already!

We have lots of fun activities planned for this week.

Our value for this week is Sharing.

The children had lots of ideas about sharing and ways they can share from sharing toys to sharing ideas.

Our movie this week is the Lego movie.
