So 2027 end of Feb / early march (to coincide with Rhyan visiting NZ) is when we will have reunion. I will book it 6 months in advance.
So in August I will book and create an event on Facebook for the reunion. It will be one of these circled weekends, I think.
Please let me know if those dates in 2027 are horrible - maybe a local event I’m unaware of.

Update!
Looks like reunion will be early 2027 (liaising with overseas folk re: date they will be visiting nz).
I have been chatting to White Horse Inn re booking them as a venue. So that will likely go ahead.
Also in touch with contact at Toko re: tour to check out how it has changed.
So it is shaping up nicely.
Next mission will be getting everyone’s contact details!
Venue room can hold around 65 people so we can invite a few year levels.

No one is making t shirts. That is a scammer I blocked and deleted the comments of.
I (Katie Phillips) plan to book the pub in Milton and pay whatever the minimum spend it and then I’ll just invite everyone to attend the date I book.
What time of year do people prefer?

So I’m currently thinking 2026 summer holidays (Dec-Jan ish) for the reunion. Does this suit people or is it a horrible time of the year? Am thinking of renting the pub venue in Milton. Keep adding folks! It’ll probably end up a organising it and then inviting all the Milton Toko peeps. The venue will let me know max number of people allowed and I don’t think anyone will mind if you invite your mates, so long as we can keep an rsvp list somehow for numbers.

Please continue to add people from Tokomairiro, as the next step is creating a poll for what time of year (in 2026) people would like to have the reunion. At this point, I am assuming during school holidays. However, the poll will have other options ☺️

Hey all, this is Katie Phillips (Katie Hayes). Katherine Christie (Lyon) reminded me that next year is the 20 year anniversary of us graduating Toko. I thought I would put some feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in a reunion? It can be low key - we can hire one of the venues in Milton and just have a fun night. I am happy to organise it with Kath (who doesn’t realise she has been volunteered 😂).
What’s everyone up to these days? I’ve got two kids (7 year old boy and 11 year old girl) and am a college teacher in Auckland.
Please invite whoever you like to the page. I thought it would be nice to include those a couple years above and below us, as we had friends from various year levels.
