What a wonderful day we had exploring Pūkaha National Wildlife Centre, Mount Bruce on Wednesday. This excursion provided a meaningful opportunity for our tamariki to connect with nature, mana whenua, and discover New Zealand's unique native wildlife.

Throughout the day, the tamariki showed curiosity, excitement, and respect as they observed native birds, insects, and eels while exploring the beautiful natural surroundings. It was heartwarming to see them making connections to their learning, asking thoughtful questions, and enthusiastically sharing their discoveries with friends and whānau. This experience offered many opportunities for exploration, learning, and creating lasting memories, while deepening our appreciation for the natural world around us.

A heartfelt thank you to all the whānau and aiga who joined us on this special excursion. Your support, enthusiasm, and involvement helped make the day such a positive and memorable experience for our tamariki. We greatly appreciate your time and willingness to share these valuable learning opportunities alongside us.

What a wheely great morning we had toughing it out , during our bike-a-thon. We hold this yearly to help sponsor a hectare at Pukaha Mount Bruce. Our target is $50 and this year we raised $120.
With the remaining money whānau has donated it towards our trip to Pukaha Mount Bruce. Thank you to the Whānau who came to cheer their tamarki and mokopuna on.
