At St Patrick’s, everything we do is guided by what we call The St Patrick’s Way.
It’s not just about behaviour. It’s about who we are as a Catholic school, and how we live out our faith in everyday moments.
At its heart is a simple idea. Every person is treated with dignity, respect and compassion, because each of us is created in the image and likeness of God.
Our guiding scripture shapes this in a very real way:
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
You’ll see this lived out across our school through our values of Strength, Kindness and Excellence. These aren’t just words. They’re part of daily life in our classrooms, on the playground, and in the way we support one another.
We place a strong focus on teaching and modelling these values, so students understand what’s expected and why it matters. When challenges arise, the focus is on reflection, learning, and restoring relationships.
The St Patrick’s Way is about creating a school where every child feels supported, included and able to thrive.
If you’d like to learn more or see it in action, we’re always happy to share more with our whānau.
