💙💛🏀⚽️🏉🏐🏑🐴🏍Kia whakahī te mahi tahi! Tournament Week 2026! Wairarapa College has 10 teams competing next week from Wellington to Palmerston North to the Hawke's Bay to Tāupo. Thank you to everyone who makes it possible for these teams to head away and compete against their peers in an amazing week of competition. Coaches, managers, parents and staff - hours and hours of organisation, training and fundraising makes it all happen. Kia kaha e hoa mā!

💙💛🧥👖Wairarapa College’s environmental group EnAction ran a clothing swap to help reduce clothing waste in the school community. Many students got involved with donating and finding some cool new pieces. It was a great turn out and everyone enjoyed the fun and interactive way to engage in sustainability. Mahi pai!👖🧥💛💙

💙💛🧁📝Kia whakahī te mahi tahi! Wairarapa College's Year 9 Literacy class (taught by Miss Senior) have been working on compound words which includes exercises involving cupcakes (on paper), so Miss Senior decided making actual cupcakes was a great Period 5 incentive!📝🧁💛💙

Introducing our 2027 Otiwhiti Cadet Intake!

We are very excited to announce the successful cadets who will be joining the Otiwhiti School of Agriculture family in 2027.

We would also like to sincerely thank everyone who applied to be part of our 2027 intake, and particularly those who made the trip to Otiwhiti for our interview process.

The calibre of applicants this year was incredibly high. We were so impressed by the young people we met, their enthusiasm for farming and their desire to build a future in agriculture. Selecting our final intake was certainly not an easy task.

To those who were unsuccessful this time, thank you for putting yourselves forward. We wish you every success as you continue your journey in the agricultural industry and hope our paths cross again in the future.

And to our 2027 cadets – congratulations! We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Otiwhiti and seeing what the year ahead brings.

💙💛Wairarapa College‘s Year 11, 12 and 13 Sports Academy students the split into their sport groups and applied their nutrition learning by baking and cooking food for their teams to contribute towards tournament week next week.Ka pai!💛💙
