Our amazing centre is looking for a qualified, certificated kaiako to join our fun loving, professional and innovative teaching team to make a positive difference in the lives of our local tamariki.
We are a community based mixed age centre 0-5, licenced for 30 tamariki. Our programme is based on the “Calm Classroom approach” which focuses on promoting social and emotional competence within a calm, consistent environment which is predictable. You will be working with ages 0–5 years.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Dedication to being present for and passionate about empowering tamariki
The ability to build respectful, supportive relationships with tamariki, whānau, colleagues
The ability to work with initiative, flexibility, collaboration
Current knowledge of Te Whāriki, He Mapuna te Tamaiti, assessment and planning skills
The willingness to contribute to a reflective, respectful professional culture
An ECE qualification with current certification
A can do attitude!!
As part of the Cloud Kids Educare whānau you will get to enjoy a good work life balance. Initial hours of work are 8.30am–3pm (30 hours per week) Monday to Friday for 46 weeks of the year. (the second week off at every term break, three weeks shutdown at Christmas)
You will also get paid staff meetings, professional development opportunities, subsidised childcare(if applicable) 2 paid teachers only days per year
