Helped out at the tangi today by participating in killing, skinning and gutting two, two tooth hoggets for the Graham tangi currently at the marae. Thanks to Jason Reiri for letting us tag along.

Kia ora whanau, mahi out at Onoke Spit finished. 6 horizontal end assemblies, 3 gates, over two hundred Waratahs and around 3km of wire rolled out and attached.

Last week we started this mahi with GWRC&DOC collaboration. The main reason to input this fence was to control areas that the public could drive there vehicles thus protecting birds/wildlife that congregate on or around the dune areas.

Hurunuiorangi Marae mahi last weekend

-gates to gas bottle storage area done
-gutters and down pipes done on new shed
-painting of gutter facia boards and roof trim
-cut back identified agapanthus from pathway

Seats finished today at our home base marae “Te Ore Ore”, thanks to all our tauira and tutors and a final thank you to Te Rangimarie marae for the seat template.

At Kohunui marae in Pirinoa today, cleaning and painting Kokiri roof. We enjoyed getting this mahi done for our whanau of Kohunui marae.

Kia ora Rongokako

Papawai mahi completed. Carvings erected, roof and ridge painted, front fence and gates completed and Rongokako keeping an eye out for the marae and the whanau. Thank you Papawai Marae for hosting us especially Michael Roera and Joe Nuku - Tamakehu
