1. Unqualified Kaiako / Student in Practice (Maternity Cover)

Position Duration: Until April 2025, with the potential for a permanent role.
Area: Over 2s.
Requirements: While formal qualification is not required, candidates must have some experience in Early childhood education. We seek someone passionate about working with tamariki, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to our community.

2. Qualified Registered Kaiako

Position: Permanent role.
Area: Over 2s.
Requirements: A registered and qualified kaiako with experience working with young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and be dedicated to fostering a supportive, nurturing, and educational environment.

Kia ora ,
We are so happy to announce that our free te reo classes have officially commenced at our centre Āniwaniwa-The Rainbow ! Our first class took place on March 21st.
A huge thank you to Api for sharing his invaluable knowledge with us. In our inaugural class , we delved into basics of the language, focusing on vowels and consonants. It was an enriching experience and we are excited to continue practicing throughout the month with various exercises at our centre.
To all who joined us for this class, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your participation means the world to us as we embark on this journey of learning and incorporating te reo Into our teaching practices.
We can’t wait for our next class and the opportunities it will bring.
Let’s learn together and embrace the beauty of this language.

“Aperahama (Api) is a qualified lawyer who currently works as a cultural competence consultant in the areas of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, Tikanga Māori, translating, cultural advice, and Te Reo Māori. Only one more day until we welcome everyone back! We can’t wait to see each and everyone of you after the holiday period. We hope you’ve had a fantastic break with your whānau.
Over the holiday period, we’be been hard at work making improvements to our facility. We have invested time and effort to enhance the environment for all of our tamariki. We can’t wait for all the tamariki to come back and enjoy the upgraded space.
As we kick off this new year, we look forward to creating wonderful memories together. Let’s make 2024 a year filled with joy, growth and shared experiences.
