What an amazing Daffodil Day! 💛🌼💛

Tamariki looked awesome all dressed up in kōwhai! They have had a very busy day doing arts and crafts as well as baking yummy cheese scones for morning tea!

Our Daffodil Day framed artwork helped us raise over $170 to go straight to the cancer society. A huge thank you again to the students at Rangitīkei College for putting our frames together! And of course a huge thank you to our amazing group of whānau for donating and taking your beautiful tamaiti artwork home 💛

Last Wednesday we celebrated Red Nose Day and Bee Kids was a sea of whero all day long! 🛑❤️🛑

We are beyond proud and appreciative of all of our whānau and extended whānau for all of the attention our silliest face competition received!!

From that competition, our guess the Jaffa jar competition and selling our famous Red Nose Day cookies we managed to raise $1,039!! Going straight to Cure Kids to support their vital research for young tamariki!

As a small mixed aged childcare centre it really warms our hearts that we have been able to band together with our whānau and community and raise such a substantial amount of funds for this amazing cause❤️

WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!

As our silliest face competition was such a huge success we decided as a teaching team to have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for our tamariki as the amount that was raised from just that competition alone was extraordinary!

There was 41 jaffas in the jar!

We had two voters that guessed 42 and one that guessed 40 so we pulled the three names out of a hat and Brodie was the winner!!!
