Very humbling and grateful occasion at Kura today with our manuhiri Thomas Abercrombie of the Tall Blacks and Charlisse Leger-Walker of the Tall Ferns, New Zealand Basketball, alongside Matua Justin Gush from Sport Whanganui, Whanganui Basketball, and the many others that helped make today possible. The launching of our new basketball hoops with some skill and drill sessions was an amazing opportunity for our tauira. Flourishing potential

Our up and coming whanau engagement evening.

We would love to have you all join us and help us to celebrate our successes and plan our future as a school community.
The night will begin with whanau workshops alongside teaching staff. For every workshop whanau attend, their names will go into the draw to win a $50 New World voucher, and stationary packs for next year. We will then have kai, a variety of performances, and whakamoemiti with Te Reo o te Arepa in attendance.

We’ve been busy here at Marton Junction School. On Tuesday we were privileged to have a visit from the Police along with the police dogs who showed us some of their tricks and teach us about their work out in the community. The students absolutely enjoyed it!
