Today our kura was filled with sunshine as we dressed in yellow for Daffodil Day! 🌼💛

It was wonderful to see our tamariki and staff getting behind such an important cause and helping raise awareness and support for people affected by cancer. Thank you to everyone who generously donated to this important cause.

💛 M***I DAY TOMORROW – GO BIG ON YELLOW! 💛

Tomorrow we are holding a gold coin fundraiser and students can come to school in m***i.

The catch? Your outfit needs to be predominantly YELLOW! 🌼💛☀️

We’re talking lots of yellow – not just a yellow hair tie, socks, badge or tiny splash of colour.

👉 Mostly yellow outfit = m***i
👉 Just a small touch of yellow = school uniform

Kia ora Doubtless Bay Community,

We need your help. Unfortunately, someone has illegally dumped a number of black rubbish bags outside our school grounds.

The incident was captured on our school security cameras, and we have clear footage of both the vehicle and the individual responsible.

The cost of disposing of these rubbish bags now falls on the school, taking valuable funds away from our tamariki and the opportunities we work so hard to provide for them.

We are asking the person responsible to please contact the school so we can resolve this matter and arrange payment for the cost of disposing of the rubbish. We would much rather resolve this directly than take the matter any further.

If we do not hear from you, we will have no option but to share the CCTV footage more widely to assist in identifying those responsible, as well as provide it to the appropriate authorities.

We hope the right thing will be done so this matter can be resolved quickly and respectfully.

Thank you for your patience while we finalised the draw for our Matariki Raffle.

The raffle was drawn today by two of our amazing Year 8 tamariki, Ashlyn and Bobbi-Rose.

Congratulations to our lucky winner, Liz, who purchased her winning ticket from Ashlyn outside Coopers Beach Four Square. She was thrilled to receive the phone call letting her know she'd won!

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported our Year 8 OPC fundraiser. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will help our students as they prepare for this fantastic opportunity.

Due to the current power outage, the decision has been made to close school immediately. We are currently working on organising the Taipa Bus but if you’re able to collect your child, please do so asap. If your child has normally collected or takes an alternative bus home, you will need to pick them up asap.
Due to this outage, we are unable to provide lunch.

🎉 Welcome back! We hope everyone has had a wonderful break and enjoyed some quality time with whānau and friends.

A reminder that Monday is a Teacher Only Day, so school will resume on Tuesday.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Tuesday morning for another great term of learning, fun, and new opportunities. Please make sure bags are packed and uniforms are set out so you’re ready for a fantastic start.
