This year at Lifeskills, we welcomed Te Tau Hou Māori by reflecting on two important intentions: Remembering our loved ones who have passed on through Pōhutukawa, and setting goals and aspirations for the year ahead through Hiwa-i-te-rangi ♥️

This years theme, Matariki Haerenga Waka is a kaupapa that truely resonates with us at Lifeskills. It reflects our commitment to bringing people together through learning, sharing mātauranga and celebrating the richness of all cultures and beliefs 🫶🏽

As we wrap up another incredible Samoan Language Week, we want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who took part in celebrating, learning, and embracing the beauty of the Samoan language and culture ♥️

This year’s theme, “E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le nu’u” reminds us that the wellbeing and success of our communities are built upon strong foundations. Our language, culture, values, and people are the pillars that continue to strengthen and uplift future generations. ⛰️🙏🏽
