Maangere Mountain Education Centre (MMEC) is a not-for-profit organisation administered by AklCouncil
We at the Mangere Mountain Education Centre are passionate about restoring, re-enacting and reinforcing the cultural heritage and history of the Mountain and its local iwi, Te Wai-o-Hua. We are planting 100 extra Hue seeds this season in the hope schools will embrace growing these magical plants. If you are a part of a school who wants to try growing Hue we have seedlings for you.
DM us and commit to the tikanga of observing growth against the maramataka and come get you seedlings.
