This is not your average clinic. I won’t just be coaching you — I’ll be working with your horse.

Each horse/rider gets:
✅ 3x training sessions on Day 1
✅ 2x touch points on Day 2 (shaping & retention)
✅ Real-time feedback you can take home
✅ Written material to support your learning

I keep groups small (4-5) so every horse and rider gets attention, and we build from the basics right through to practical, applied tasks.

Hey team 👋
Now that hunting is over 😭 I’ve got some space on weekends and a few evenings to work with horses needing support — and I’d love to help a few of you out!

I can come to you (within the greater Waikato – travel costs apply over 25km from Te Awamutu), or I have limited livery options available for horses needing more sustained or consistent work.

International Society for Equitation Science Conference is on in Colorado this year. It was Ana amazing experience last year when it was here. Looks like some amazing speakers. Thank you Jody for sharing some amazing snippets. 💕

Before understanding the science of learning theory this was unimaginable. Armed with the knowledge of Equitation Science International - ESI and the understanding that if there’s a problem, we can solve it with science, I was able to enjoy one of the best moments ever. Both kids out hunting. It helps that we have the best little hunt family in the world to support too ❤️

Such a cool team these two! Very lucky to have done a little bit of work with them. Sophie has a real knack for the science as well as the feel for the horsemanship. Great combo! 🤩 excited to see what’s on their horizon!

Please read this and pay extra attention to the weaning of foals. Natural weaning creates happy and confident horses. Also to note the negative impacts of ‘imprinting’. Our horses are used to seeing humans and can engage if they want but are basically unhandled until after weaning. Because we only breed from horses with good conformation and feet little intervention is required until then.
