Wheels Day at Busy C’s! 🚲🛴
This Friday we will be having a fun Wheels Day at Busy C’s! The idea came from Indie, who suggested it would be fun if everyone could bring along their bikes, scooters, or any favourite wheels to ride and share with their friends.
Children are welcome to bring along something with wheels to enjoy riding around with their peers. Please remember to bring a helmet for safety and make sure all items are clearly named.
We are looking forward to a fun and active day together! 😊

We want to reassure you that the indoor play sand recently reported as containing asbestos has never been used at Busy C’s Preschool.
If you have this product at home, please follow ministry guidance on how to dispose of it.
The health and wellbeing of our tamariki is our highest priority, and we understand how concerning these reports can be.

Kia ora whānau,
As the weather warms up, we’re starting to check the UV index each day to know when tamariki need sunblock.
We apply sunblock after lunch and again in the late afternoon, so please ensure your child has sunblock applied before leaving home in the morning.
If your child requires a specific sunblock, please send it along clearly named. Also, remember to provide a named sun hat for your child.

Have you noticed our Pātaka Kai?
Our tamariki worked alongside John the builder to create this for our Busy C’s community. It’s here for everyone to use – if you have extra kai you’d like to share, this is the perfect place to leave it. Anyone is welcome to add or take something.

🌸🚴‍♂️ Welcome Spring with a Bang! 🚴‍♀️🌸
Bring along your wheels this Monday for a wheely-fun day!
We’ll be closing off the carpark to give everyone extra space to ride, scoot, and roll.

We would love to invite the friends and whānau of our tamariki to join us and share pukapuka (books). If anyone would like to come in and read the children a story—either one from home or one from here—we would be thrilled. This is a wonderful way to support our literacy and oral language focus. Eunice suggested if you speak a different language at home, you could bring a book in that language to share. Anytime, just let us know.

Kia ora koutou, Just a friendly reminder that our Busy C’s Matariki Celebration is happening this Monday! Please remember to bring along some vegetables for our shared soup—you can drop them off today or on Monday morning. This is also a shared kai! Tamariki are encouraged to come along in their pyjamas, ready for a cozy and fun evening. This is always such a special and memorable night for everyone, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
