FINALLY: THE MOMENT YOU’VE WAITED FOR

First of all we wanted to acknowledge that these images have taken substantially longer than anticipated to be edited, finalised and ready to share. As an organising team - we are few; and this is the reason for the delay.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding as we now prepare to share the photos from our recent reunion; and trust they are worth waiting for.

Those who registered and attended the reunion, will have received an email, with a series of links to DropBox (file share system) to download all the reunion images. There are seven folders holding over 300 images.

We will be posting the Class Photos and the best images from the reunion, here on Facebook. But for the full set of images, follow the links to DropBox. Cheers

FINAL PROGRAMME - SCREENSHOT AND SAVE

CAN I TURN UP, IF I HAVEN'T REGISTERED...? YES. YES. YES.
We warmly welcome local residents, past students, teachers and parents, to drop into Armadillo's Lyttelton, on the Friday or Saturday night, for a casual drink and catch up with old acquaintances. All we ask, is that only those who have registered and paid, partake in enjoying the catered food. Everyone else is welcome to order off the Armadillo’s menu, through the bar crew.

CAN WE BUY MEMORIAL PACKS ON THE DAY...? NO
Memorial packs have been ordered and pre-designated to people who have registered.

CAN WE BUY A MEMORIAL BOOK ON THE DAY...? MAYBE
We have ordered a couple more memorial booklets, in case there are people on the day, who would like a another copy.

ARTWORK FOR SALE
We have collaborated with local talented artist McChesney Adams, who has created some sketches of Lyttelton Borough; Lyttelton Main; Lyttelton West; Rapaki and St Josephs. Limited edition prints of these will be available as an A4 sized complete set; or as one-poster of all five sketches. Both options $35. Profit from each sale goes directly to the artist, in recognition of the work provided.

GRAND OPENING: SATURDAY 7 FEBRUARY, 1.00PM

We're excited to announce, the new netball courts, built as part of the redevelopment of the Recreation Grounds, will be opened this Saturday in tribute to Flora 'Flo' McGregor.

To quote Banks Peninsula Councillor, Tyrone Fields: Flo was a deeply respected community leader and volunteer, whose work across a range of sporting, cultural and community causes has left a lasting legacy in Lyttelton and beyond. Amongst her many contributions, Flo was a driving force behind the inclusion of netball courts at the Recreation Grounds.'

The Recreation Ground Reserve Management Committee, recommended naming the courts after Flo McGregor; and this was supported by Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke, Lyttelton Netball and the McGregor Family.

The official dedication will take place on Saturday 7 Feburary, 1.00pm - as part of the Lyttelton Schools Reunion.

Flo was the driving force of inspiration for the Lyttelton Schools Reunion; telling everyone and anyone for years, that an event such as this - is the perfect opportunity to bring the whole community to together.

We'd like to express our gratitude to everyone involved, including: Recreation Ground Reserve Management Committee; Lyttelton Netball; Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke, Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula Community Board, Christchurch City Council and the McGregor Family - for making it possible to celebrate this dedication, this weekend.
